When there is a great deal of frustration, sometimes the best thing to do is to simply get out of the way. This could mean, stepping aside and not participating in the awkward gameplay that can occur between two or more people. Usually in the Gameplay, there is a winner and a loser. We can get frustrated when we are continually on the losing end of that game.
Getting out of the way could mean not reacting in a habitual manner with another individual in a way that contributes towards a pattern that is unhealthy. Rather than responding in a defensive way, it may simply mean doing what the person ask and then letting them deal with the consequences of their behavior. It may also mean, letting the other person know what your boundaries are and what you will and will not do, leaving them with the choice to decide whether they are going to continue in their same behavior while you refuse to participate in their activity.
Getting out of the way could look very differently based upon who you're dealing with and the situation.
